Adolfo Morales.

Maracaibo 1965
He trained as a ceramist between 1980 and 1984 at the School of Fine
Arts Neptal Rincn in Maracaibo. In 1989 he founded with Javier
Rondn the Ceramics Studio Piedra de Ojo.
He worked as an assistant for the Brazilian artist Maria Bonomi in III
(1998) and IV (2000) Barro de Amrica Biennials, in its editions at
Maracaibo Art Center La Bermdez and Marta Traba Gallery in Latin
America Memorial in Sao Paulo-Brazil. He also collaborated with this
Brazilian artist in the realization of murals "Imigraao" for the Palace of
Government of Sao Paulo and "Etnias do Primero e Sempre Brasil", a
mural of 50 meters made of ceramics, bronze and aluminum located in
Latin America Memorial in Sao Paulo-Brazil.
In his long career as an artist he has received several awards, including
National Prize of the Arts of Fire (2013), Order of Artistic Merit
Francisco (Paco) Hung Bracho, University of Zulia (2008), Order
Armando Revern in the day of Plastic Artist, Bureau of Culture of
Zulia (2007)
He has made numerous individual and collective exhibitions in
Venezuela and other countries. The most recent are: Anthological

He has taught several courses of ceramic techniques at the University of
Los Andes (Venezuela), schools of Fine Arts Julio rraga and Neptal
Rincn, Maracaibo Art Center La Bermdez and University of Zulia.
