Teaching and learning will be via face to face, active learning and
cooperative/collaborative learning. Students will also be required to do their own
self-study for certain topics and assignments.
Assessment strategy:
Assessment will be both formative and summative. Students learning will be
assessed using quizzes, numerical tests, group assignments and final examination.

This course is meant to provide students with strong fundamental mathematical


concepts and techniques related to Algebra, Equations and Inequalities, Geometry,
