isimprovedbyaddingacarotenoidformulationcomprisingacarotenoid,avegetableoil,asurfactant,achelating
agent,anantioxidant,analkaliandasolvent.Thecarotenoidformulationcanreducethecrystallinenatureof
luteinforitsbetterdissolutionintheformulationandthediet.Thisnewformulationiscapableofmakingmore
micellesforaneffectivetransferofluteinfromtheformulationstotheaqueouslayer.Thenewformulationcan
increasethebioavailabilityofluteininchickenbiologicalsystemandleadstomoredepositioninthebloodand
theegg.Theluteindepositionintheeggwasconsistentforanextendedperiodoftimewhenthisnewformulation
