NOVELEVENT WRITING TIPS

Question : Based on the novel you have read, write about an interesting/important event.
Give reasons for your choice.
Tips:
1stNovel + Introduction (Optional)
2ndState the event + Describe the event
3ndReason 1
4thReason 2
5thOpinion

[Novel] I studied the novel ' "The Railway Children " by Edith Nesbit.
[State] An event which I find interesting is when Bobbie and her siblings
save the train. [Describe] One day, the children takes a walk along the top of the
hill beside the railway line. Suddenly, they hear a noise and see half the hillside
crashed down onto the railway line below. The children realise that the 11.29
a.m train will be in danger. They use the girls red petticoat to make six flags to
warn the train. The train come down the track too fast. Bobbie is afraid that it
would not see them. She runs onto the line waving two flags. The train stops just
twenty metres away from Bobbie.
[Reason 1]I find this event interesting/important because the children have
shown their bravery to save the train. They are not afraid instead they are willing
to risk their lives to save the train and the passengers in it. Bobbie is brave
enough to run onto the track when she realizes the train will not stop. This act
should be praised.
[Reason 2]Another reason is their team work. They work together to save the
train; tear the girls' red petticoat and make six flags to warn the train. Here, I can
see that they cooperate to accomplish their mission, that is to save the train.
[Opinion] This interesting event makes the story more interesting. Reading
about the children's courage and the adventure they went through is definitely
exciting.
