Respected Sir,
With reference to the above cited subject, I wish to inform you that the
institution has called notice inviting tender for procurement of machinery, Tools &
equipments for different departments under different schemes covering MHRD, Govt of
India Assistance and State plan DTET fund vide tender notice No-143 dtd. 01.02.2016 and
which were opened on 01.03.2016 but the participants for different packages are either
single or Nil. Due to this none of the packages were finalized for procurement. This matter
was also discussed in IMC meeting. The committee decided the tender notice may be given
by DTET so that the participants will be more and easy to give purchase order for the
following items with detailed specifications which are essential for the COE in Mechanical
Department which are already vetted by NITTTR, Kolkata (copy enclosed).
