Munnar does not have an airport of its own. The nearest airport to Munnar is the Cochin International Aiport,
which is 110 kilometres away by road. You need to hire a cab to reach Munnar.
You can reach there by State-run or private buses, running from various towns in Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
Kerala State Road Transport Corporation offers bus services to Munnar from all main cities in Kerala.
The nearest railway station from Munnar is at Aluva, which is 110 kilometres away. On the other hand,
Ernakulam Railway Station is 130 kilometres away whereas the Madurai Railway Station is at a distance of 135
kilometres. Hire a cab from these points or board the state transportation.
