Analyzer Update

1 In this version
This release contains support for new and updated file formats. There are updates for most
technologies that Actix supports, with changes falling under the following categories:

New collection of devices and improvements:

Added support for TEMS Investigation 17.2.3, TEMS Pocket 15.4.2, TEMS Symphony
7.7.2, and TEMS Automatic 11.2.

Added support for SwissQual Diversity version 15.3.

Added support for VIAVI version 20.1.

Added support for iPhone 6s Plus, SAMSUNG Note III N9008V, ZTE MF91S, ZTE Nubia
Z9 NX508J, and ZTE Q801L devices for the Ding Li file format.

Application Layer improvements:

Added new report for Wi-Fi, including VoWiFi and ViWiFi.

Added new stateform for Streaming analysis.

Platform improvements:

Fixed several issues in Chart, Map, and Network Explorer.

Added support for the LTE_Scan_Bandwidth_DL attribute in each user-defined scanner


stream.

Limitations and Known Issues:

None.

2 New collection device or technology support


2.1 Accuver support

An issue has been fixed that prevented Analyzer from loading a specific XCAL log file.

2.2 Anritsu support

A problem has been resolved that caused Analyzer to detect incorrect values of EARFCN
for the 798 MHz band (band 28).

2.3 Ascom TEMS support

Added support for TEMS Investigation 17.2.3, TEMS Pocket 15.4.2, TEMS Symphony 7.7.2,
and TEMS Automatic 11.2.

An issue has been fixed that caused Analyzer to incorrectly detect UMTS scanner data as
CDMA scanner data.

An issue has been fixed that prevented Analyzer from setting the attribute
CPICH_Scan_RSCP_For_SC for a specific TEMS scanner log file.

An issue has been fixed that caused Analyzer to incorrectly detect an LTE scanner device
as a CDMA scanner device.

An issue has been fixed that prevented Analyzer from decoding channel RF data for CDMA
Scanner log files.

An issue has been fixed that prevented Analyzer from loading specific TEMS Symphony
version 7.7 log files.

An issue has been fixed that caused Analyzer to incorrectly report MIMO CQI
measurements (LTE_UE_WideBand_CQI_Cwd0 and LTE_UE_WideBand_CQI_Cwd1) for
Rank Indicator (RI) reporting mode messages.

2.4 China Mobile support

An issue has been fixed that prevented Analyzer from setting relevant VoLTE attributes,
events and statistics in specific ATU log files.

2.5 Ding Li support

Added support for the following devices:

iPhone 6s Plus (factory settings)

SAMSUNG Note III N9008V

ZTE MF91S

Improved the support of relevant Throughput attributes in Ding Li version 10.5. Attributes

2.6 Focus Infocom support

An issue has been fixed that prevented Analyzer from decoding Distance, although both
Latitude and Longitude attributes were correctly decoded.

2.7 Huawei Probe support

A problem has been resolved that caused Analyzer to crash while loading Huawei Probe log
files version V300R015C00SPC200.

2.8 Nemo support

An issue has been fixed that caused Analyzer to set EARFCN=0 in case of NAS messages.
An issue has been fixed that caused Analyzer to set incorrect values of SINR
(LTE_UE_SINR).
An issue has been fixed that prevented Analyzer from setting CDMA attributes in case of
specific Nemo Handy version 2.22 log file.
A problem has been resolved that caused Analyzer to detect false VoLTE MO calls in case
of raw RTP packets not being continuously flowing during the call.
Added support for the new attribute LTE_Scan_CyclicPrefix_SortedBy_RSRP in LTE
scanner log files.
An issue has been fixed that prevented Analyzer from setting correct values of the
attribute LTE_UE_CA_Configured.
Changed the format group Nemo AQ Mean to allow the user to change the value ranges.

2.9 Qualcomm support

Added support for the message WCDMA PN Search Ed.2 version 5.

An issue has been fixed that prevented Analyzer from decoding GSM Scanner
measurements in specific log files.
An issue has been fixed that prevented Analyzer from decoding UMTS data when a LTE
license is used.

SwissQual support

Added support for SwissQual Diversity version 15.3.

Added support for user defined markers in SwissQual file format.

A problem has been resolved that prevented Analyzer from displaying UMTS scanner data
in specific SwissQual log files.

Shanghai Transcom support


Added support for GSM scanners in Shanghai Transcom file format.

VIAVI support
Added support for VIAVI version 20.1.
An issue has been fixed that caused Analyzer to set incorrect values of the EARFCN for
Band 30 VIAVI version 20 log files.

Generic
A problem has been resolved that caused Analyzer to detect false VoLTE MO calls for raw
RTP packets not continuously flowing during the call.
An issue has been fixed that caused Analyzer to set incorrect values of the attribute
Ue_Bands_UMTS for higher bands.
An issue has been fixed that prevented Analyzer from displaying data in dB in the System
Information Type 3 (SIBtype3) message.

A problem with CDMA cellref lookup has been resolved that caused Analyzer to use only
PN and ignore the CDMA frequency.
An issue has been fixed that caused Analyzer to set SIP Registration OK and SIP
Registration Failed events twice.

3 Application layer improvements


3.1 Stateform

Added a new stateform for streaming analysis.

4 Platform improvements
4.1 Chart

Resolved an issue that caused lines to be enabled by default in the Chart.


Resolved an issue that could cause Analyzer to crash when opening the Chart after loading
multiple log files.

4.2 Map

Resolved an issue where exporting a Map layer to a KML file would erroneously use
regional settings for the decimal symbol.

4.3 Network Explorer

Resolved an issue where cells are duplicated after import.

4.4 User-Defined Scanner Streams

Added the support for the LTE_Scan_Bandwidth_DL attribute in each user-defined


scanner stream.
