NARRATIVE REPORT

Creating a term paper for the first time is quite hard. The researcher encounters many
difficulties. She experienced problems in thinking for a best subject to discuss, problems in
searching for relevant information, problems in starting a composition and problems in time
management.
Although Prof. Marissa Mayrena already gave the assigned topic to all the groups, it
is still hard to the researcher to choose what to focus in Plastic Surgery in the Philippines.
The researcher asked for help and guidance from her friends and classmates to find a perfect
theme to her term paper.
There many available resources in the magazines, journals, books and even in the
internet. However, most of it are studies from other countries so it is not easy to find the
articles or readings that are suitable for her study.
Starting the term paper is really the most challenging part because the researcher does
not have enough knowledge on that kind of writing. She is more familiar in thesis than this.
Thats why she also asked for assistance from her co-journalist during her high school days to
tell what term paper really is.
Time is also a hindrance for the researcher because she faced different final and
departmental exams. But then again, she finished the term paper on time.
In spite of all those difficulties, she overcomes it because she has many friends and
classmates who never fails to answers all her questions about this matter. She has a family
who become his inspiration in doing this and especially to God who never fails to help her to
defeats all the trials.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Above all, the researcher thanks God because He gives her knowledge and wisdom
throughout the days in writing the term paper, He never fails to help her to defeat all the trials
she encountered and He never leave her no matter what will be the result of this work.
The researcher would like to express her deepest appreciation to her fellow BSA 2-6
classmates, high school and college friend and other individuals who assist her in making this
term paper. She is particularly appreciate the effort of Migelle Barlis and Carlos Concepcion
who never fails to answers all her questions regarding this matter.
She owe a debt of gratitude to her parents for inspiring her to this work.
It is also her duty to record her thankfulness to Mrs. Normita Dabuyan, Ms. Sherelyn
Nuez, Mr. John Hayrold Malonzo and Mrs. Lilia Labay, her former high school teachers and
college propessors, who taught her to write a compostion, library research paper and field
research paper. She is also thankful to her English Professor Marissa Mayrena to give her an
opportunity to experience doing a term paper.
