Dear Raghav,
Congratulations and welcome to the IMI fraternity. We appreciate your interest in pursuing Post Graduate
Diploma in Management (PGDM) at the aesthetically endowed, state-of-the-art, fully residential 16-acre campus
at Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The International Management Institute Bhubaneswar (IMIB), designed by an
internationally renowned architect, stands out in terms of advanced technology blending seamlessly with the
serene and verdant surroundings. The ambience at IMIB supplements and complements its intellectual
infrastructure in creating a highly conducive environment for shaping leaders.
A stone is a stone for all. It is only sculptor who defines it as a living piece. The modern day leaders are not less
than sculptors, who can identify the talent and can shape it according to their corporate needs. To render a
helping hand to you, the would-be modern age sculptors, we at International Management Institute,
Bhubaneswar consider it our bounded duty to mentor you into taking on the leadership mantle of corporate
India in years to come.
The date of reporting and registration at IMI-B for PGDM (2015-17) batch students is Wednesday, 10 June,
2015. The inauguration of the PGDM programme will be held on Thursday, 11 June, 2015 in G4
classroom. It will be followed by the Orientation Programme. The purpose is to prepare you to cope with the
methods of study at IMI Bhubaneswar, some of which might seem new and challenging. You will also be exposed
to Business Games, Outbound activities and Tutorial of Accounting, Mathematics and Economics. There will also
be guest lectures by eminent personalities from corporate. The annual Academic Calendar is attached herewith
to provide you with a perspective on the schedule for the year 2015-16.
PGDM at IMI-B is a fully residential programme. There are AC and Non AC single or shared rooms at the hostel.
You are expected to bring your own mattress, pillow, bed sheets and bathroom necessities. You are also
expected to bring your laptops. Assistance will be provided by us, wherever required. Please note that use of
personal electrical appliances is not permitted in the hostel. The campus has round-the-clock security,
availability of transport, medical facility, convenience store, mess facility, student common rooms with TVs,
indoor and outdoor sports facility, and well-equipped high-end gymnasium.
You are requested to bring along with you the following documents for the purpose of registration:
1.

CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT admit card and score card.

2.

Admission offer letter from IMI-B.

3.

Original application form (In case you have mailed the scanned copy).

4.

Original educational certificates (Class 10th onwards).


5.
One set of photocopies of all relevant documents (CAT/GMAT admit card, educational
certificates etc.).

6.
Six passport size photographs (In corporate attire).
The official attire for all corporate and placement events (and any other official event as notified to you from
time to time) is as follows:
Formal Suit (Sapphire Blue)

Formal Black Shoes (With or without laces)

Formal Shirt (White or light blue)


Tie (Any suitable colour)
You are requested to adhere to the above-mentioned dress code.
As per AICTE norms it is mandatory for both students as well as the parents to submit anti-ragging affidavits.
Each student is required to providetwo affidavits (one each for the academic programme and hostel
accommodation) on a Non-Judicial Stamp Paper of Rs. 10/- duly attested by the Oath Commissioner (notary in
your home town). Either of the parents is requested to give a similar affidavit. The formats for the affidavits are
attached herewith (the format of both the affidavits by the students will be the same).
Alternatively, you can file an online affidavit by logging on to the website www.antiragging.in. It is a portal
developed by University Grants Commission (UGC), Government of India in accordance with the Honble
Supreme Court judgment.
You are required to bring the affidavits/printouts of online affidavits duly filled and signed by you
and your parents at the time of Registration, failing which you may not be allowed to register.
