Welfare

In general, all Sector-based Portfolios


have the duties and responsibilities as
follow:

Acting as contact point for CISA at


all events and functions;
Acting as a resource person
contributing to subcommittees that
are created for a specific event or
purpose.
Supporting the President and other
executive members in the fulfilment
of their individual roles on the
committee.
Acting as a contact point for CISA
and liaising with other organisations
as and when required by the
executive committee, as well as
addressing issues concerning
international students within the
specific sector
Gathering and reporting feedback
to the CISA executive committee
from CISA members and students of
the:
o VET/TAFE, ELICOS and
Foundation education
o Undergraduate
o Postgraduate

Coordinators to organise activities and
events to encourage involvement and
engagement from the International
Students association or group in the
different institution within the
respective state / territory
Update the International Students
association of CISAs project and
initiatives
Initiate surveys, focus group discussion
and forums where to the international
students and student organisation can
share their feedback, suggestions,
initiatives or innovations, creative ideas
to strengthen multi-cultural awareness
and engagement among other students
regardless if international or domestic

Research Team Member

Work closely with the Event Team to


analyse the outcome of the events held
such as forums, focus group discussion,
surveys, etc. to be presented to the
CISA Executive for review and
discussion.
