PUP, Department of Electrical Engineering

Dear Sir,
The accompanying designed entitled Illumination Engineering
Design is submitted in accordance with the instructions you have presented
to us.
The design covers the residential, commercial, industrial and
street lighting. The illumination calculations of the interior and exterior
electrical plans are in accordance with the Department of Energy (DOE),
Philippines, which formulates the use of efficient lighting design and
practices.
This design is hereby presented to you for final evaluation. Your
comments and suggestions are highly appreciated to improve this further for
future use.
We sincerely hope that this design will meet your approval.

Sincerely yours,

This book authored by The Committee of Group 1 is hereby approved

by the Faculty of Engineering. It was evaluated and carefully examined under
the direct supervision of Engr. Oscar L. Poloyapoy. All its calculations and
data presentations are based on actual design. Additional information and
extra lightings are basically based on the taste of the authors to add
elegance and beauty of the design without compromising the economic
value and efficient lightings. We fervently hope that all information is correct
to the best of our knowledge so that this will serve as a guide for engineering
students in the future and effectively utilize the efficient lighting systems.

Signed this _____ of October in the year of our Lord, two thousand
fifteen.

Acknowledgment
First of all we would like to thank ourselves for individual cooperation to
accomplish this task. Then I would like to thank our families not only for
cheering us but also for giving us a financial support to our project. And also,
we would like to thank all the people that supported us in doing this project
especially our professor, Engr. Oscar L. Poloyapoy in guiding us from the start
until we finish this project. And finally, we would like to our Lord God
Almighty for giving us the strength and time we need to accomplish this
task.

About The Author

Since Anthony Bauzon had mastered the application called AUTOCAD, he
would be operating the design of our project. Although Mark Louies Villarosa
and Karl Dustine Vivar are the wildest in the group they also the biggest
brains among them. Therefore, since two heads are better than one, they
solved all the computation of the project. Jason Diezma and Florvin Pagdato
had the fastest hands in the group, therefore, they did the job of an encoder
they typed all the papers needed to the project. And the last but not the
least, Carl Parez which is the eye of the group, he managed all our expenses
from the project and gave us some guides to make our project done faster.
Our project cant be done if theres no cooperation, responsibility, and
understanding among us. If we did that altogether at the right place at the
right time, then we can achieve our goal.

Introduction and Purpose of the Design

This project is the compilation of lighting layout of the residential, commercial,

industrial and street lighting with all the computation of the illuminations for our
course subject Illumination Engineering Design (ELEN 3533). It will serve as a guide
for every student that needs/wants to learn about Illumination Engineering Design.
Our project is composed of perspective view of the building, appliance layout,
general notes, and computed illumination and luminaires.
Our project will serves as an illustration of design for our subject Illumination
Engineering Design to guide the next generation on how to compute and design the
illumination of a building.
