Who Would Win?

Aim: To analyse the data of the top four teams of the AFL ladder and
use this to predict who will win the 2015 Grand Final. This is to be
completed in EXCEL.
1. Use the internet to find the top four AFL teams as the ladder
stands currently.
2. Save from kwrscvcalrocks.weebly.com the file: 2016 Football
Statistics. You can find and use more data if you wish. The data
includes the following statistics from the top four AFL teams.
Height
Weight
Age
Number of games played
Each teams data has been placed in four separate tables using Excel.
Add four extras rows to the bottom of each teams table and use to calculate:
a. Mode
b. Median
b. Mean
d. Range
An example is given below. Answers should be to the nearest whole number.

6. Now you MUST make at least SIX comparisons between the teams.
For example:
Does one team have more experienced players than the other?
Is one team taller overall than the other?
Is one team lighter, and therefore maybe faster than the other?
Does one team have too many older players than the other?

Make a decision, and EXPLAIN why you think this by using all the graphs and
calculations you have performed on the data.
8. If you worked with a partner, did you both contribute equally? Be honest.
