Computer

A computer is an electronic device. It is one of the gifts of modern science. A computer can take input
from the user and process this input data and if need. It follows the instructions unit in which we input. It
takes input through keyboard, mouse etc and then it process the input data and give output on display
screen and store data if need.
Computer was not invented overnight. It took long time and hard labor to invent computer. A British
professor named Charles Babeg invented this machine at first in 1833. Charles bavez is called the father
of modern Computer
There are three parts in a computer. They are 1. Central processing unit 2. Input 3. and output. The
central processing unit is the brain of the computer. The input part receives signals and output part gives
the result.
A computer performs three functions. It receives data. At first the details of work are put in the input of
the computer. It is called programme. The computer does not work in our language. So the programme is
to put in its own language.
Computers are of two kinds- the analogue and the digital. An analogue computer can solve
the different problems of mathematics within a short time. A digital computer can do varieties of thing.
Now a days a computer means a digital computer.
We use it in every sphere of our life. Now people can get access to many libraries, books, journals and
various kinds of information in a minute through a computer. We can not suffer from any communication
gap or loneliness, if we have a computer. We use internet through computers for sending mails, keep in
touch with friends and family members through various kinds of blogs and social sites such
as twitter or Facebook etc.

Computer is an integral part of life and so to keep up the pace in this fast life of today, computer
education is extremely important. This is the Information age and computer education is must to
raise the ladder of success. As computers are widely used today, acquiring computer education is
the need of the modern times. Computers, which have such a wide variety of applications, are
indeed ruling society.
As most of the jobs involve the use of computers, computer education is an eligibility criterion
for almost all of the modern-day jobs. Higher education involving network administration,
hardware maintenance or software skills open doors for brighter job opportunities. Computer
knowledge coupled with certain other job skills increases one's chances of getting a job. Those
with knowledge of computers are considered trainable for many kinds of jobs.
At present computer is used to diagnose disease. A new process of operation is invented by
computer an alternative of surrey. Beside this, computer is used to grind stones in normal
pathological test.

Thus computer is very important in the present world. It has played an important role in improving

the conditions of advanced nations. We can effectively realize our dreams through proper use of
computers. Computers do not act as storage or processing devices only. They are the biggest
sources of entertainment and communication as well.
Although Computer has its own demerits like causes of diseases respitutive stress injury and weakens the
eye sight of the operators It has lessened our work loads, saved time and energy. The Computer is

expected to render the greatest service of humanity by substituting human

brain. It has made our life easy and comfortable. It is a part and parcel of our life.

Computer is very useful for us. It we used in our daily life of various purpose.
Computer has made a great change in education. The students of developed
countries use computer prepare their study materials. The result of various
examinations is prepared accurately by computer within a short time.
Besides printing thousands of books are made within a short time, computer
contribute a lot in education. Science should be meant for the service of
humanity computer is the greatest contribution of science. It is expected to
render the greatest service of humanity by substituting human brain. I think
this computer can help Bangladesh to solve many unsolved problems. So,
this is one of the wonders of modern science.
