SYNOPSIS
ELECTRONIC FUNDAMENTALS course provides students with an introduction to the
theory and operation of semiconductor devices such as diodes, transistors and
integrated circuits and their application in basic electronic circuits, where
components are soldered on a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) and when in control of an
automatic control mechanism called servomechanism.

(B)

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOME (CLO)

Upon completion of this course, students should be able to:
1. explain operation and application of semiconductors, printed circuit boards and
servomechanism. (C4, PLO2)
2. perform electrical engineering principles in analyzing an electronic circuit. (P4,
PLO4)
3. demonstrate operation of electronic circuits connected on a printed circuit
board. (A3, PLO11)
