Morning Session:
The morning session of the symposium will feature 3
resource speakers who will be discussing an overview of
Biotechnology in the Philippines and recent researches
and innovations in the field.
Afternoon Session:
The afternoon session will consist of 4 parallel sessions
which will discuss different subtopics under Biotechnology.
Afterwards, the students will be grouped and will undergo
a workshop session where they will be presented with
a problem which they need to solve by applying their
knowledge in Chemical Engineering as well as the
knowledge they acquired from the symposium. Then, the
groups will have a chance to present their solutions in their
respective parallel sessions which will be assessed by
selected judges. The group with the best presentation from
each parallel session will be awarded accordingly.

The Company Mixer will be a one-hour and twentyminute part of the program. Participants will be grouped
according to the number of companies present (i.e. if there
are 30 companies present and 120 participants, there will
be 30 groups of 4). Each group will be given two minutes
and 30 seconds to interact with the representatives from
the company. After that, the group will move onto the next
company. This will be done until the groups have been to
all the companies.
