Information Systems Engineer (August 2014Present)
Responsible for providing engineering support on large-scale systems, major components, and interfaces; works
as a member of a team and also independently; performs technical assessments to identify points of
vulnerability; analyzes user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level architecture to
develop requirements specifications; develops detailed system design documentation.

Developed a functional configuration management plan that utilized SaltStack as the infrastructure management
to run commands on all VMs inside the MITRE NCPS Cross Domain Solution lab. It resulted in a flexible
configuration management execution that allows for effortless and simultaneous solutions the vast number of VM
instances being run inside the lab.
Performed and delivered an analysis of tools that could be used to reproduce a successfully-deployed, wellreceived Metadata Repository Proof of Concept functional capabilities inside the DHS NSD MOE. The
capabilities are intended to be used as the basis for development of an NSD MAC prototype. The tools identified
in the analysis focuses on quick to establish functional capabilities and included an in-depth look at COTS and
Open Source tools alike.
Analyzed filtering capabilities using XML tools and testing within MITREs Cross Boundary Information Sharing
Laboratory. Delivered feasibility analysis on constrained STIX schema to ensure cross boundary delivery was
achievable using various Guard applications and transport methodologies.
Collaborated with government contractors and internal SMEs on a cloud service provider analysis effort to
produce evolving constructs and simulation modeling that integrate multiple data sources with inputs from the
CSP and the sponsor. Delivered a briefing presenting implementation, security requirements, and considerations
for current and future integration efforts.
Analyzed and expanded existing Technical Gate Reviews and Documentation to apply Agile Methodology to
Technical Gate Review and Documentation.
Led team to complete a rapid-response, high-level Requirements Traceability Matrix within a constrained
timeframe, resulting in an enhanced Science and Technology Roadmap for Senior Government Staff.
Acted as key member of a fast-paced, short-suspense team to produce a Gap Analysis that generated a follow-on
Alternatives of Analysis. This effort enabled an in-depth capability for a sponsors critical decision for the
nations emergency response system.
