Introduction
The Peter B. Kline Papers were accessioned by Wright State University Archives and
Special Collections in 1986. Aeronautical engineer Peter B. Kline collected the papers and books
and magazines pertaining to aviation. His large collection of books is also held by the Wright
State Archives. Kline specialized in materials about the WWI era and military aircraft, in
general, but his collection covers a wide range of aviation subjects.
The time span covered by the collection is 1822 to 1986, but the bulk if the materials are
concentrated from 1917 to 1986.
Contained in over 46 Hollinger boxes, three of which are oversize, the collection fills 20
linear feet.
There are no restrictions on the use of these materials. However, due to the many
copyrighted items in the collection, consideration of copyrights is the responsibility of the user.
