Higher temperatures tend to bring the transport number of cation and anion closer

to 0.5 and both partial conductivities should increase. If the transport number is
greater than 0.5, the effect is a decrease in this value with an increase in
temperature. The reverse is true with transference numbers below 0.5. This may be
explained with the fact that at higher temperatures, the ionic conductance and
speed tend to approach a similar limiting value that results in equal contribution
between the ions.
