Old doesnt mean outdated, because lets face it, 80s and 90s fashion tends to make a comeback
every now and then.

The 80s was a vivacious and wild time especially when Madonna ruled the entertainment industry. With her crazy hair, loud outfit, and killer thigh-high boots, she definitely embodied the Material Girl.
Leg warmers, shoulder pads and fishnet stockings were definitely the rage. (Your moms are still probably
obsessed with them. #neverforget)

The 80s was also undoubtedly the epitome of eccentric fashion. If you knew about John Hughes
films before Emma Stone made them cool in Easy A, you would know this to be true. The 80s It Girl
Molly Ringwald would probably be the first person to pop into your mind with her countless defining
fashion moments in Pretty in Pink. I mean floral over lace over knit over silk? Mollys character was odd,
offbeat, and mismatched but in a chic way!

After a decade of life and color in the 80s, the 90s emerged with its grunge and laidback fashion. With the 90s fashion ring leaders Kate Moss and Wynona Ryder, the rebellion aesthetic was born.
Loving crop tops? Well, thanks to one of Kate Mosss iconic Calvin Klein campaigns, you now have a
summer staple. Also, the denim overalls, baggy pants, plaid prints, band shirts (under plaid polo), chokers, combat boots that youve been sporting around these days? 90s fashion was the mastermind of all
these.

And of course, who could forget the adorable cluelessness of Cher Horowitz from the classic
chick flick Clueless? Every outfit she wore was either an explosion of plaid and knee-high socks or a
sequence of regal designer pieces. She may be clueless, but she was certain of her style.

On the other end of the rack, you may remember the 2000s as the reign of the chick flick royalties such as Amanda Bynes, Mandy Moore, Hilary Duff, The Olsen Twins, and Lindsay Lohan, where we,
at an early age, got our clothing manners from. From bohemian tops to Abercrombie shirts, denim skirts
to flare jeans, layered tank tops to Juicy couture velvet hoodies, the 2000s fashion is quite a combination
of every era that came before it. But the 2000s also brought out the mean girl in all of us when Regina
George and the rest of her clique, The Plastics, taught us that On Wednesdays, we wear pink. Vibrant
characters = vibrant style 2000s fashion in a nutshell.

A trip down memory lane really makes you think that the transition in fashion is fast-paced. Keeping up with the latest trends can sometimes cause major holes in our pockets. Yikes! But a rendition of
the past trends is no fashion offense when done right. Designer Yves Saint-Laurent was on point when
he said, Fashion fades but style is eternal.

So with the help of CCatt Models, take a cue from your favorite movie characters of the 80s, 90s,
and 2000s and make their style your very own!
