Dead Star

Slowly I opened my eyes and looked around. I saw fire and death and then
I noticed them. The Tentoniums conquers of thousands of planets. My men
and I called them the dukes of death. My men were fighting covered in
sweat and blood; I stood up and grabbed a B25 battle rifle. I looked at my
watch and saw it was 0600 hour. Today was supposed to be a recon
mission on F893 one of our many planets. But it started going wrong, one
of their recon aircrafts spotted us before we spotted them and mercilessly
shot us down. Then we got stranded in this blood bath, out of 40 men we
were left with 22 men. I realized that they werent a normal attack unit
they were the emperors royal guards. One of my men shouted out sir
look up!!! all of us looked up and there it wasA massive fleet was
heading straight towards are command base. I got my communications
officer to call base for a pick up eagle. Base no can do all are eagles are
pinned down by the fleet youll have to fight or die, over. I told my men
to salvage everything they can from the ship. But we had one problem we
were still pinned down by the guards. Luckily one of my men was able to
salvage a mortar and some shells; we put the mortar down and set it up.
All my men were waiting for my command I shouted out fire then I
waited and, BOOM. I looked up and saw guard bits flying everywhere, my
men shouted in joy. But I knew that this was just the begging of the war
and the end of the Tentoniums because they chose to extinct the wrong
race. We started heading back to base to give them some back up, but I
had a feeling that that we were going to need back up not them. We
walked about 1 mile then we heard some gun fire, and then man down. I
shouted out get into cover!!!! and jumped over a wall and got into
cover. I realized that there was about 4 snipers I knew there was 1 way
out of this, and shouted charge! We all started running my heart was
furiously beating then it stopped I looked down, there was a hole in my
chest then my whole life blinked in front of my eyes.
