NOTICE OF COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT
BY A WEBSITE USING YOUR DOMAIN NAME REGISTRAR SERVICES

Dear Globalar (reg.am),

The Motion Picture Association (MPA) represents the major film studios (i.e.
Paramount Pictures Corporation, Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc., Twentieth Century
Fox Film Corporation, Universal City Studios LLC, Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.,
Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures) which companies, whether themselves or
through subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively, the MPA Represented Companies),
own copyright in a vast number of films and television programs ("the Entertainment
Content").
We are writing to you in connection with your provision of domain name registrar
services to an Internet website operating under the domain name kat.am ("the
Website").
The Website is making available the Entertainment Content, as well as other
copyrighted content. In operating the Website, the website operator is infringing
copyright on a very large scale. Such infringement causes very significant damage
to the MPA Represented Companies and other creative industries.
We have sent a notice to the Website requiring that it ceases making available the
Entertainment Content and other copyrighted content. However, in spite of our
notice, the Website continues to infringe the rights of the MPA Represented
Companies. Examples of the infringing activities of the Website are found in Exhibit
A.
By this letter, we are reaching out to seek your assistance in ensuring that your
services are not used by the Website to continue its unlawful operations. In using
your services, the Website is violating both copyright law and your own Terms of
Service (TOS), which expressly prohibit use of your facilities for copyright

Considering the above, we trust that you will cooperate in taking steps to
cease the provision of domain name registrar services to the Website.
This letter is not a complete statement of the MPAs and the MPA Represented
Companies rights in connection with this matter, and nothing contained herein
constitutes an express or implied waiver of any rights, remedies, or defenses of the
MPA and the MPA Represented Companies in connection with this matter, all of
which are expressly reserved.
