Developed andappliedasuiteofFORTRANprogramsforSTMimage calculations (constant height, constant current,

apparentheights,localdensityofstate)ignoringtipeffects.(2002)

Developmed(simutaneouslywiththeabove)asuiteofprogramsforcalculatingGreenfunctions,andSTMmolecularwire
conductivitiesandcurrentsusingthenonequilibriumGreensFunctionformalismincludingtipeffectsandapplieditto

Developedaprogramforthecalculationofabinitiototal,anddifferenceelectronicchargedistributionmaps.(2001)
Theabovewerecompletedinabout10months.

UponasuggestionbytheLateEdwardF.Hayes,developedandprogrammedforadirecttimedelaycalculationmethodfor
accurate3Dquantumscatteringcalculations.Thissecuresaccuracyandspeedthroughavoidingthenumbericaldifferentiation
stepoftheSMatrixfortimedelayandeignlifetimecalculations.ThisisknownnowastheDarakjianHayesmethodfor
calculationofoftimedelays(1996)

Developed aFORTRANprogram forcastingtheeffective potentialcalculationstageinaDVRwithinthecontext of

accurate3Dquantumreactivescatteringcalculations.Thisallowedustousesparsematrixtechnology,thusrealizingsavings
inmemoryusageandexecutiontime.

Developed and applied a suite of programs for the calculation of both experimentallybased and theoretically derived
deformationanddifferencedensitymaps(respectively),andappliedthemtofourdifferentsystems.(1988)
