CHARACTERISTIC OF IBADUR RAHMAN

Ibadur Rahman are those (the servants) of Allah who dedicates their life,
obedience and submission to Allah. Their characteristic are stated in surah Al-Furqan from
verses 63 until 74 which is explain a servant who seek for the blessing from Allah. Whit that
those peoples who loyal and obey all His rules and commands will be rewarded a paradise
for them, and Hell of Jahannam for those who disobey and reject Him and His rules in terms
of action.

1) Avoiding pride (arrogance) while walking, gentleness and good words.

{63}
And their servants of (Allah) Most Gracious are those who walk on the earth in
humility, and when the ignorant address them, they say, Peace!. In this surah,
ignorant means in a spiritual sense. Address means: in the aggressive sense.
The humility of Ibadur Rahman is shown in two ways, first to those in real search of
knowledge, they give such knowledge as they have and as the recipients can assimilate.
Second, to those who merely dispute, they do not speak harshly but say Peace, as much
as to say, May it be well with you, may you repent and be better; or May Allah give
me peace from such wrangling; or Peace and good-bye, let me leave you.
Allah says in surah Luqman verses 18:
()
And swell not your cheek (for pride) at men, nor walk in insolence through the earth; for
Allah love not any arrogant boaster.
This surah means that man walking on the earth without pride, arrogant and violence but
they walk with humble.
As a servants of Allah we must appreciate all things that Allah give to us. We must be
humble not arrogant. Brilliant, intelligent, good looking and all things that we have are
only borrowed by Allah and not permanent. Those who want to get rewarded from Allah
will practice and use these kind of attitude in their life.

2) Stay awake at night to perform solat Al-Tahajjud.

{64}
Those who spend the night in adoration of their Lord Prostrate and standing;(64)
Those who are stay awake at night to perform solat Al-Tahajjud and pray to Allah in way
to obey and worship Allah besides to be closure to Allah and get forgiveness and
mardhatillah.
3) Fear from Allahs punishment.
This is a prayer of humility : such a person relies, not on any good works which he may
have alone. But on the Grace and Mercy of Allah and He shows a lively sense of the Day of
Judgments, when every action will weigh for or against a soul. This is the attitude of Allahs
servants who worship to Him.

( Surah Al-Furqan-63)
And the servants of (Allah) Most Gracious and those who walk on the earth in humility
Which is with peaceful and authority, and snobbish.

( Surah Al-Luqman-18)
Nor walk in insolence through the earth
Abdullah bin Al-Mubarak had said from Al-Hassan Al-Bashri about Al-Quran :
( ) And servants who Robb that most Gracious and next ayah indeed,
for those people who worship is a humility people. Hearing, sight and all part of their body
is humble until non-muslim thought them as a sick and yet actually between them nobody
was effected.Indeed , people who didnt feel honour with Allah highly dignity, believe in,
his soul will break up against worlds life with loss. And for who did not see the Allahs
enjoy at least for food and drinks, so just a little knowledge and punishment on them.

4) Balance in spending on himself, family and dependent.

In ordinary spending, this is a wise rule. But even in charity, in which we give of our best, it
is not expected that we should be extravagant. In examples, that we should either do it for
show( to impress other people ) or do it thoughtlessly, which would be case if we rob peter
to pay paul. we should certainly not be niggardly but we should remember everyones
rights, including our own, and strike a perfectly just balance between them.
Ibadurrahman is not a person who waste their properties until they accrossed the lines
because they really know that waste can damage their own soul and money. those person
who like to waste is satans family. The devils always told human being for evil. they know
that they have the responsibility on their properties in front of God in the Hereafter. They
also never stingy for their family in giving their right equally based from rules of Allah.
This is because they know that Allah really to those who stingy and cruel. The pure heart
will bad valued all this things and avoid the person who do it.

5) Free from polytheism, killing and fornication.

{68}
Based surah Al-Furqan verses 68:
Those who invoke not with Allah, any other god, nor slay such life as Allah has made
sacred, except for just cause, nor commit fornication;- and any that does this (not only)
meets punishment.(68)
There three things are expressly that condemned by Allah. Firstly, false worship which is a
crime against Allah. Therefore it is the greatest sins to associate others in the worship of
Allah. Rasulullah said; Islam has been built upon of five pillars: on testifying that no god

except Allah and Muhammad His messenger, on performing shalat, on paying zakat, on
fasting during Ramadhan and on hajj to the house of Allah.
In surah Al-Kafirun verses 1-6, Allah says: says: you that reject faith! I worship not that
which you worship, nor will you worship that which I worship. And I will not worship that
which you have been wont to worship, nor will you worship that which I worship. To you
be your way, and to me mine.

6) Far from giving false witnesses.

{ 72}
Refers surah Al-Furqan verses 72 Allah says:
Those who witness no falsehood and if they pass by the futility, they pass by it with
honorable (avoidance);(72)

Witness no falsehood has to significations, both implied in this passage: firstly, those who
give no evidence that is false. Secondly, those who do not assist in anything which implies
fraud or falsehood.

By that we will know that the servants of Allah finds dignity in their faith which keep them
away from evil such as to bear false witness, tell lies and idolize idol. Therefore they will
not commit unfairness or injustice to oneself or others as it result to social chaos.

7) Accepting advice, hope for the better life of his family and leader for ummah.

{73}
Based on the Surah Al- Furqan in versus 73: Allah says that those who when they are
admonished with the Signs of their Lord, droop not down at them as if they were deaf or
blind.
From the above ayat it tell us Kharra may mean : to fall down, to shore, to droop down as
if the person were bored or inattentive or did not wish to see or hear or pay attention.
It also means that those who, when always remind their Lords revelations, they should
be open ears and eyes what He wants to remind us. Other than that, it shows that we
should be more enslave to Him. This reinforces idea that the study of Al-Quran should be
accorded full attention and respect, otherwise one will not reap the full benefit from it. It
means that those who obey the rules from Allah, they will be given by Allah a grant.
Based on the ayat versus 74, Allah says that :
{74}
And those who pray, Our Lord! Grant unto us wives and offspring who will be the
comfort of our eyes, and gives us (the grace) to lead the righteous
It means that, a plea from the Believers to God to have their sense of family feeling and
to strengthen the ties of love, emotional stability among their family unit.
We must also pray for the maintenance of Allahs Law after us, through our wives and
descendents: in our eyes they should not be mere accidents or pray things, but a real
comfort and fulfillment of our spiritual longings. Perhaps, through them, as well as
through ourselves. We may, by Allahs grace, be able to give a lead for truth and
righteous.

8) Do not practice mischief on Earth (in society)

{68}
Those who invoke not, with Allah, any other god, nor slay such life as Allah Has made
sacred, except for just cause, nor commit fornication and any that does this(not only) meets
punishment .
Based on the above ayat in surah Al- Furqan versus 68, we can understand that we should
not destroy life which God has forbidden to do it except for a just cause for an example as
for our benefit like food.
Here three things are expressly condemned : (1) false worship, which is a crime against
Allah; (2) the taking of life, which is a crime against our fellow creatures; and (3) which is a
crime against our self-respect, against ourselves. Every crime is against Allah, His creatures
and ourselves but some may be viewed more in relations to one to another. The prohibition
against taking life is qualified; except for just cause: example in judicial punishment for
murder or in self- preservation which may include not only self-defense in the legal sense,
but also the clearing out of pests, and the provision of meat under condition of halal.
