Our Medical curriculum hardly teaches us on Quality Management System in Clinical laboratories. Clinical laboratory quality
management is an integral part of daily practice with intention of doing the Right things in Right way. Training pathologists,
microbiologists, clinical chemists in quality management systems is a step towards obtaining international recognition. This
training is intended to provide comprehensive materials that will allow for designing and organizing QMS for all stakeholders
in health laboratory processes, from management, to administration, to bench-work laboratorians.

It is based on training sessions and modules provided by WHO-GCLP in more than 25 countries, and on guidelines for
implementation of ISO 15189 in diagnostic laboratories developed by CLSI that are essential for quality management of a
public health or clinical laboratory.
The LQMS Certificate course focuses on:
Providing a systematic process - oriented approach to meeting quality objectives.
The Delivery of consistent, high-quality, cost-effective laboratory services through implementation of a QMS.
Developing, implementing, and sustaining relevant policies, processes, and procedures for each quality system

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Post Graduates in Pathology, Microbiology, Biochemistry & Residents
Pathologists, Microbiologists & Biochemists.
Non Medical graduates/Paramedical graduates are not recommended.

Course fees: ` 8500/- (Eight Thousand Five Hundred only), DD payable to MIOT HOSPITALS Payable at Chennai. Out
station candidates have to arrange accommodation on their own. Transportation will not be provided.
Registration is open to 20 candidates only (on a first come, first served basis).
