Note charted areas for UKC and squat, and possible
areas of interaction.
Inform engine room of progress.
Update operational details to all concerned parties
concerned as appropriate.
Log all activities.

Monitor ships position continually.
Allow for currents, interaction and weather.
Obtain revised weather information prior to
engagement.
