Hes the best. Hes older than his assistant coach Felipe Dieguez, but he can run faster than Felipe!
Logan is the goalkeeper and the teams superstar. The girls say he is the best-looking boy on the
team. The tallest person in the picture is Nicholas. Hes a good player but hes the naughtiest boy on
the team! Coach Paton is always telling him off. This is Christian. Hes the youngest on the team and
we are always teasing him because of that. He hates it! Ethan is the shortest. He hates being short
but he shouldnt care. Hes the best player on the team. Now, look at these other pictures here

t present there is a
tendency to have bad eating
habits in our modern society.
People are always in a hurry and
they usually eat junk food in city
bars and restaurants. As fast
food is rich in calories and low
in nutrients, people who include
it in their diets have more
chances to have diabetes or a
heart condition.

Skipping meals is also a very

bad habit. Having breakfast
is very important because it
gives us energy and it also
helps us to make healthy eating

choices during the day. So, it is

necessary to have at least a
bowl of cereal and a glass of
milk for breakfast. And if you do
not have enough time, you can
always eat some fruit on your
way to work!

Eating and doing something

else at the same time is
another common unhealthy
habit. People get distracted
and do not pay attention
to how much food they are
eating. Consequently, they may
continue eating without really
being hungry.

1 Today many people have healthy eating habits.

2 Nowadays many people take time to enjoy their
meals.
3 Junk food is low in calories.
4 Junk food doesnt cause any health problems.

Breaking
Unhealthy
Eating Habits
Apart from food, it is essential
that our body gets the right
amount of water throughout the
day. During meals, it is advisable
to avoid soft drinks or artificial
fruit juice because they contain
empty calories that make us
feel full very rapidly.

Do you have any of these

unhealthy habits mentioned
above? If so, you can start
paying attention to them now.
If you change your eating
behaviour, you can surely have
a healthier diet.

I dont really care about clothes.

I just like my clothes to be
practical and comfortable. My
mom sometimes buys me clothes
that she thinks will make me
look like a girl, but I just give
them to my friends.

I dont care about clothes very

much, but I must confess I am
really obsessed with shoes. I
think I have more than 50 pairs!
Some were really expensive,
others are not very comfortable
and I have five or six pairs that
are completely out of fashion, but
I dont care. I think theyre all
beautiful!

I like wearing clothes that are

the latest fashion and I can spend
more than $200 on a dress or a
pair of sunglasses, but Im not
really obsessed with that. When
I dont have money I just look for
things on sale.

My parents say fashion is

just a way for designers and
shopkeepers to make money,
but to me its really important.
I want to look good when I go out
with my friends. I feel terrible
if I notice my clothes are out of
fashion!

If I like something, I buy it. I have

lots of expensive clothes but I also
look for clothes on sale. I always
ask my parents for clothes on
my birthday, and for Christmas.
Sometimes they give me money
so that I can buy what I like.

I usually wear comfortable

practical clothes, but when I go to
a party I look for clothes that are
the latest fashion. When theres
a party to go to and I dont have
money I borrow clothes from my

A Truly Natural Wonder

he Iguazu Falls are one of the most impressive

natural landmarks in Argentina. These waterfalls of
the Iguazu River are located on the border of Argentina
and Brazil. Tourists should definitely visit the national
parks that protect these waterfalls to really enjoy all the
natural beauty that this area offers.

One of the most interesting attractions is Garganta del

Diablo (the Devils Throat), the highest point of the falls
which is 82 metres high. Visitors can have access to the
falls if they take an ecological train that allows them to
explore the jungle and observe the local fauna. There are
also some trails that lead to these magnificent waterfalls.
It is also possible to take boat rides that go near the falls
and give people the opportunity to come into close contact
with this natural wonder. Another popular tourist point is
where the Parana and Iguazu rivers meet (which is also
the bordering area of three countries: Argentina, Brazil
and Paraguay).

both sides of the Iguazu River. Visitors are then guaranteed

he Perito Moreno Glacier is one of the most popular

of fresh water. At its deepest part, it has a depth of
approximately 700 metres (2,296 feet).
There is a walking circuit for visitors to explore this
magnificent glacier and enjoy the beautiful views. The
aspect of the glacier is always changing because the ice in
this area is continually growing and expanding. One of the
most spectacular events to watch occurs when huge parts
of ice fall from the glacier walls.
Among the varied options available to visit the glacier,

3 What do cheetahs eat?

4 Why are cheetahs an endangered species?
5 What are some of the products made from cheetahs
fur?

DONT LET THE CHEETAH DISAPPEAR!

Cheetahs live in most parts of Africa. There are also a small
number of cheetahs in Asia and the Middle East.
The cheetah has black spots on its golden-coloured fur and is
the fastest land animal in the world. But cheetahs cant run
long distances. They have to stop for a rest at about every
275.3 metres. They live for about 12 years in the wild, and 17
years in captivity. Cheetahs favourite food is the antelope but
they also eat gazelles and other animals. The gestation period
of cheetahs is about 90 days. Each female might have between
1 and 5 cubs. They are really cute when they are born.
Cheetahs are endangered species in most parts of Africa,
Asia and the Middle East. They are losing their habitat and
many are hunted for their fur. In the 1960s alone, the United
States bought about 5,000 cheetah skins for coats, shoes,
handbags and other accessories.
Conservationists are working hard to save these creatures.
In Africa, the cheetahs are protected in national parks and
they are also kept in
zoos. If we dont do
anything to save the
cheetah, this species
will soon disappear.

Asian elephants live in the rainforests of Southeast Asia,

India, Sri Lanka and Indonesia. They are about 2.9 metres tall.
They can weigh as much as 4,989.5 kilos.
Some people cant tell the difference between the Asian
elephant and the African elephant. Comparatively speaking,
Asian elephants are smaller and have smaller ears than
African elephants.
Elephants eat about 140 kilos of food a day. They love eating
grass, bamboo sprouts, tree bark, roots and foliage. They
also like bananas, rice and sugar cane. The gestation period
of Asian elephants is about two years. Each female usually
has only one calf which weighs about 90 kilos when it is born.
Asian elephants care for each other. When one of them is sick
or about to die, the whole group gets together to offer help and
protection. They never leave a member of their group alone.
Asian elephants are endangered species because they are losing
their habitat. People are cutting down forests very quickly in Asia.
They either cut down trees to sell, or clear the land for farming.
There may be very few Asian elephants left today in the wild
