Dear Parents/Guardians of Secondary Three Pupils,
SECONDARY THREE COMMON TESTS - TERM 3 WEEK 6/8 (3 AUG TO 18 AUG)
The school will be conducting a Common Test for all Secondary 3 pupils in Term Three
Week Six / Eight. Respective subject teachers will brief your child/ward on the details of the
Common Tests. The Common Tests are an important checkpoint that helps ensure that your
child/ward puts in consistent work and is therefore better prepared for his/her Semestral
Examinations at the end of the year.
2.
The Common Tests carry part of the marks for Continual Assessment in Semester Two.
The schedule is shown in the table below:

Normal lessons will resume after the end of the last paper on each day.

Pupils should take these Common Tests seriously as they would provide a good gauge to
how well pupils have learnt the content taught. They should take the opportunity to revise their
materials for the respective subjects.
