Bienvenidas means you are welcomed in Spanish. I am
offering the Bienvenidas Cardigan patternas a free
pattern on Ravelry, as a thank you to the Ravelry
community. It is also an invitation for top-down knitting
novices to try out this simple and seamless construction
method.

Bienvenidas is knit from the top-down; it has a gradual

reversed v-shaped-front that is very figure flattering. This
reversed v-shaped front, means that when the cardigan is
worn open, it does not have the long corner, that tends to
hang off most asymmetrically shaped cardigans. The
cardigan can be worn open, but it also has an after-
thought button closure (see last page for additional
sketch). Instructions are included for length or for full-
length sleeves.

Sizes: XS (S, M, L1, L2)[XL, 2XL, 3XL] to fit 34 (36, 38, 40,
42)[44, 48, 52] chest /to fit 86 (91, 97, 102, 107)[112,
122, 132] cm chest

Yarn: Fingering, Sport or DK weight yarn 1000 (1100,
1200, 1300, 1400)[1500, 1650, 1750] yards. If knitting full
length sleeves, add 100 yards to overall needed yardage
needed.

Gauge: 22 sts & 28 rows = 4/10 cm in stockinette stitch
on larger sized needles after blocking

Sew-on snaps are sewn onto fronts, so that the cardigan can be worn
buttoned. Use two decorative buttons to sew on top of fabric (see last
