I. Introduction:
Currently, it is reported that online learning has been increasing
exponentially, resulting from technology advances whereas traditional classes still
retain the dominantrole. Although both learning methods require the positive

2.Reading and watching TV
ESSAY
%ntil now, television and reading materials & maga'ine, newspaper, boo are
themost powerful tools of entertainment and education. Both of them can pursue
their ownob"ects to extend the nowledge about some more things, facts and
persons as well asmae us discuss, thin and explore something new so that
they may change our mindsand our attitude to things around us. Besides that,
each media has different characteristicsrelated to the elements of activity,
content and convenience. The first notable difference between reading boo and
watching T( is thatreading is more active than the other. )bviously, watching
T( means that we are passively receiving images, in an order controlled by
another person. Since it requiresless effort on behalf of the audience, we do not
tend to develop better imagination andlanguage s ills. Conversely, reading is
thought&provoing when we wor more by usingour imagination and
experiences to grasp every idea exactly and deeply. *or this reason, reading can
help boost the mental powers more significantly than watching T(. )ne more
difference is that reading can offer contents more adequately but lesseffectively.
#t is irrefutable to say that reading gives us a huge source of information in
allfields, from daily life to study, in contrast to television which only provides a
general partof the nowledge. +owever, reading can not convey the content as
well as the messageeasily and quicly as watching T( because of without
interesting images, attractive voiceand lively emotion. The final difference is that
reading is much more propitious than watching T(. #f we go out and would li e
to have something to en"oy, carrying a television by our sidewill be impossible as
opposed to bringing a favourite boo or newspaper which may becompletely
popular among us. As reading materials are portable, reading can
happeneverywhere.

As can be seen, these two hobbies are different but both are very vital in our
lifesince they can mae us relaxed and more cogni'ant. hen deciding what we
do in thespare time, we can consider relying on these contrasts and it all
depends on what we arelooing for. -ersonally, # prefer reading because # can
mull over what the author is tellingto perceive the message and then connect to
my personal experiences.
