REFLECTIVE JOURNAL

WEEK 3
(11/10/15-15/10/15)
It was my third week of internship in S.K Bechah Kelubi. Many things
happened throughout these weeks especially regarding our projects. Our group projects
were done within this week. We were doing our project on the first day for this week
which was on Sunday 11 October.
Magical English was the first programme which was from 8.45- 9.45 a.m. I was
grateful as the programme run smoothly as what we have planned. All the teachers who
were involved for that programme handled the competition in a great way. Meanwhile,
the pupils excitedly join the competition and done the best for winning the competition.
My task for that day was to help the teachers in order to make the competition going
well and took some photos as our evidence for the project.
After that, our second project was started. It was Kursus Pengurusan Jenazah.
My partner will handle the programme. We have invited a guest to give a speech on
that. The pupils of Year 4 until Year 6 were involved in this programme. Our objective
was so that the pupils will know about that and able to do it by themselves. The
programme started at 10.45-12.45 p.m. The pupils were excited to listen to that
programme as the guest showed lots of interesting videos that were able to attract the
pupils attention. This programme also to make the pupils realized that died will
definitely happen to everyone and make them prepare for it.
After that, I was handling quiz time for the pupils. I have given that some gifts for
the pupils who were able to give the correct answers. These quizzes were actually to
check their understanding about that topic. Most of the pupils were excited to give their
answers and get the gifts. Then, we finished our programme with zikir and reciting
some verses in Al-Quran. We were glad that the programmed were successfully done.
On other day, we were discussing and selecting the winners for all the competitions.

Last but not least, I hope the experiences and inputs that I gained through these
projects will become a medium to me to improve all the weaknesses in handling
projects and later on, I will be able to manage a programme better than this week. The
projects were the best experience in practicing to be a good teacher especially for the
future purpose.
