WHAT IS A RESEARCH REPORT:
A research report is one type that is often used in the sciences,
engineering and psychology. Research reports present the results

of formal investigations into the properties, behaviour,

structures, and principles of material and conceptual entities.

Definition:
Research report is a research document that contains basic
aspects of the research project.

PURPOSE OF RESEARCH REPORT

A research report is to give you more knowledge and to see what
you know.
To describe a process or a phenomena and provide preliminary
and basis understanding.
The purpose of a research report is to communicate to interested
persons the methodology in such a manner as to enable them to
understand the research process and to determine the validity of
the conclusions.
