Graphic Organizer for Intervention Purposes

Possibly / Common Strengths: Love group work, having friends, and are very intelligent.
Works well with teachers that will help keep a structured schedule and is involved with
them. They are very creative.

A-1 PALS: Allows student to work one on one with another

student and helps them gain knowledge in a different way


other than the teacher.
A-2 Class Wide Peer Tutoring: Allows student to be pared with
different students to be tutored and like in PALS; they can
receive the information in a different way.
B-1 Visual Schedules: Allows student to see what is coming next
throughout the day and can help them see where they need to
be with what materials they need.
B-2 Graphic Organizer: Allows student to organize their
thoughts related to their work and have all their needed
information in one area.

A-1 Class Wide Peer Tutoring: Allows student to work with


classmates, which can lead to friendships.
A-2 PALS: Allows for connections to be made within the
classroom and friendships to be made.
B-1 Choice: Allows student to be successful in his/her own way
and choose which option they agree with more.
B-2 Behavior Specific Praise: Allows the teacher to ignore the

noncompliance and give praise to something the student is


doing correctly. This will cause the student to feel appreciated
and noticed.

B-1 Positive Self-Talk: Allows student to calm down when
feeling aggressive.
B-2 Good Behavior Game: Allows student to reduce temptation
and helps him be able to control his/her actions so the class or
group can win the game.
