ABOUT US

Global Institute of Management(GIM) was established in 2008 with the intake of 60 seats
to provide the future managers of India with the latest principles, practices, and
technologies of modern management from around the world. Global Institute of
Management(GIM) offer a 2 year MBA (Masters of Business Administration Programme)
(full time) has an affiliation to Punjab Technical University (PTU) Jalandhar. Our goal is to
promote excellence in management education and to prepare young students to meet the
challenges of the developing corporate world.
At Global Institute of Management, the MBA course structure is closely aligned with the
contemporary business requirement. The focus is on producing managers with sound
fundamentals to hit the ground running when they enter the corporate world. The
programme empowers the students to demonstrate the ability to innovate , the ability to
execute the most daunting of challenges in the most trying of circumstances.
The Masters of Business Administration degree course focuses on instilling strategic and
creative awareness to make future business leaders. The course is designed to bring
students close to business reality and make him/ her aware of socio-economic, global
cultural and technological context.

The programme aims to prepare students for assuming responsible positions in

organizations with specialized knowledge and to equip them to face modern day
challenging business situations and deal with problems relating to men, resources, finance
and other functions of the organization. The rapid changing business scenario seeks young
and dynamic business professionals with new mindset, who will be performing in an everchanging environment. Certainly, a knowledgeable executive is capable to reach the top in
the management ladder to become HR, President or CEO with hefty pay package and
perks.

Course Offered

MBA(Master of Business Administration)

Duration : 2 Years (4 Semester) Regular Programme
Affiliated to I. K. Gujral Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar
Eligibility : Bachelor Degree of minimum 3 years in any discipline from UGC
approved university
In the first year, a student is exposed to all facets of management .
There are four options for all students for selecting specialization in the following areas:
Marketing
Finance
Human Resources (HR)
Information Technology (IT)
The students have to adopt dual specialization.
At the end of second semester students are required to undergo industrial training for 45
days
