Step by Step:
1. 1. Print 3 landscape photos 6''x4'' 1 for each section and 6 small
photos either orientation about 4''x3'', 3 for the top 12 x12 and 3 for
the middle one. Trim these with a very thin white border using the
Purple cows 2 in 1 combo trimmer guillotine.

2. For the top 12 x12 trim a frame out of the blue wave Cosmo Cricket
12 x12 paper with the Purple Cows freestyle mouse and decorative
click blade #2803. Trim it to approximately 1'' at it's smallest width and
cut in a free form wave. Remember by placing the freestyle mouse in
the position you want to start cutting before pressing the blade down
the centre of the paper can be easily trimmed out. Distress the edges
of the 12 x12 with some scissors and ink the inside and outside with
some blue ink from the clear snaps chocolates and blueberries stacker.

3. Trim a rectangle 5''x7'' from the Cosmo Cricket blue fish paper
using click blade # 2804 in the rotary trimmer of the 2 in 1 combo
trimmer. Ink the edges with some blue ink from the clear snaps
chocolate and blueberries stacker.

4. Trim a strip of the Cosmo Cricket spotty paper 10 1/2'' x 3'' with
the guillotine on the 2 in 1 combo trimmer and also trim a strip from
the Cosmo Cricket yellow paper 9'' x 1 1/2''. Cut a free form edge
along the right hand longside of each strip with click blade #2806 in
the freestyle mouse. Rip the ends of these pieces and ink all the
edges with some blue ink from the same Clear snaps stacker.

5. Cut a border word strip from the Cosmo Cricket paper and then
cut a free form edge along the top of it with click blade #2803 in the
freestyle mouse, again ink the edges with some blue ink.

6. Put all these pieces to one side and repeat the whole process
again for the middle 12 x12 but this time working the pieces the
other way round (so the large photo sits on the right hand side this
time rather than the left)

7. For the bottom 8 x 8 layout trim a piece of the Cosmo Cricket blue
fish paper to an irregular shaped 6'' x 6'' square using click blade #2803
in the freestyle mouse and ink the edges with blue as before.

8. Trim a strip of Cosmo Cricket spotty paper 7 1/2'' x 2 1/2'' and a strip
of yellow paper 7 1/2'' x 1 1/2''. Cut both sides of these strips in a
freestyle wave with click blade #2806 in the freestyle mouse and ink
the edges with blue ink as before. Keep all the small off cuts as decora-
tive trims for the piece and cut out the best friends block from the
Cosmo Cricket paper.

9. Take 2 #4050 12 x12 Hot pockets and 1 #4030 8 x 8 Hot pocket and
open them up. Spritz the insides with some electric blue smooch spritz
and let dry while you switch on the Purple cows hot and cold lamina-
tor, making sure it is on the hot setting.

10. Arrange your layouts within the hot pockets, tacking the papers into
place with a small amount of repositionable tape from the Glue glider pro.
Add some of the Cosmo Cricket stickers and any other embellishments you
wish including journalling amd left over bits of trimmed paper for added
interest.

11. Close up the pockets and laminate. Once you're done switch off the
machine!

12. Line your pieces up and set some eyelets at the top and bottom of the 12
x12's and at the top of the 8 x 8 section.

13. Color some string with some distress ink if you need to and tie the pieces
together so they will hang evenly. At the top wind the string around a long
sturdy twig of wood and then continue upwards to tie in a knot for hanging
the piece.

14. To add dimension to the layouts and using Herma scrap dots glue add
some Cosmo Cricket ribbon, some shells and some bits of twig tied together
with string to one corner of each piece.

15. Once the scrap dots glue is

dry find a place to hang your
masterpiece and enjoy your
watery memories without a risk
of them being damaged by all
that steamy air!! I hope you've
enjoyed this project and feel
inspired to have a play with your
purple cows laminator ... what
will you create? please share
over at the ranch! Love M x
