12/08 – 10/09 Bright House Networks: Jose Fonte St Pete, FL

In process of being Certified by Bright House in Forklift Driving
I worked in the warehouse for the engineering department, my duties were:
To receive in shipment of set top converters, unpack them code them to the system
with barcodes and then to program them with all services and channels that we
provide to the customer.
I also assisted in doing a route to service our customer service lobby locations, this
was a project which was very time sensitive. I had to prep the requested set top
converters and modems for each location, scan them out to each location, then deliver
them and pick up the ones which have been returned by our customers.
I also was responsible for check in and issuing set tops and other products as needed to
our sub contractors.
Everything we did was on strict security system; we couldn’t miss one item it is all
controlled by bar codes and a computerized security system. Our work was in a
relaxed environment, there is little supervision you are expected to work on your own
and to be able to account for your time at work.
I always exceeded on the production amounts that were required of me. I was also
awarded 3 "Carrot Award Certificates "by my supervisor for excellences in work,
meeting all my work quotas, and 1 for coming up with a quicker and better system for
issuing and checking in the customer service lobby location.
I also was involved with issuing supplies to about 80 field service techs several days a
week.
