Our Risk Team


Today, change is coming faster than ever before and there is more of it. The
sheer velocity of change has upended the business environment and
rearranged the landscape. Organizations must identify, assess and address
emerging risks without losing sight of their existing business and control
environment. They are not only working to get ahead of the curve - often
they are struggling to keep up and not always succeeding.
As part of Advisory Services, Risk we help our clients in managing their risks
and achieving their business objectives. Our endeavour is to assist our clients
in achieving a high-functioning, integrated risk and control environment
through the following solution categories:

Internal Audit: Management, audit committees and boards of directors


rely on internal audit (IA) to provide assessments and assurance
around the effectiveness of controls and company processes. We help
our clients in co-sourcing and out-sourcing of internal audits that can
help strategically assess, remediate and improve control issues
identified, while also elevating the profile of internal audit in identifying
and addressing complex emerging risk areas.

Risk Assurance: Risk Assurance covers all risk services where EY is


providing independent assurance and the preparation towards
assurance to our clients to build confidence and trust with their
customers, the general market/public, key stakeholders or when
regulatory (by law or oversight) or contractually required.

Risk Transformation: Can risks be transformed into opportunities.


Organizations today are challenged with managing a rapidly-changing
risk landscape including market volatility, geopolitical crises, widespread economic changes, regulatory reforms, and cyber threats.
While this creates many challenges for organizations, it also presents
an opportunity to take advantage of the potential of risk.

Financial Services Risk Management: We serve as a leading provider of


integrated risk management and regulatory services to the banking
and capital markets, insurance, asset management, energy and
corporate treasure sectors.

Your Role:
Responsible for effectively engaging with clients and executing engagements (as detailed
out below) under the supervision of Seniors and Managers
- Client Engagements primarily in the areas of Business Risk services like Internal
audit, Enterprise Risk management, Compliance risk and regulatory services,
Internal controls , Contract Risk Services, Business Process Management and other
related solutions
Drive innovation in service delivery; ensure delivery is in line with firms Quality and Risk
management requirements/expectations
Assist Seniors and Managers with business development proposals on existing / new
clients
Assist Seniors and Managers in developing/refreshing methodologies related to our
existing/new solutions
Contribute to various firm wide initiatives like learning and development (L&D)
programmes, campus recruitment, knowledge sharing, practice development and growth
under guidance of Managers
Take up project execution responsibility in a team or individually as per requirements and
work plan
Review work done by sub-ordinates (if any) and provide qualitative inputs before
submission of deliverables to seniors/client (as the case may be)
Sensitive towards EY code of conduct, values and quality standards

Responsibilities:
Continuously strive towards achieving goals agreed upon with Manager
Continuously strive towards exceeding client & team expectations and work on
increasingly complex assignments
Conduct research and prepare client presentations, information memorandums and
contribute to thought leadership documents
Contribute to advisory engagements in the capacity of a team member - deliver quality
output within assigned timelines
Ensure discipline to work and productivity of self and reporting subordinates ; promotes
positive working environment within a team
Attend L&D programs and exhibit knowledge of advisory methodology and consulting
attributes.
Keep abreast with developments in business related areas and assist team
leaders/managers in preparing client decks/documents.
Sector focus (basic understanding of the industry, trends, issues/challenges & key
players) based on the industry group alignment.
Exhibit initiative and participate in corporate social and team events
Exhibit flexibility to adapt to multiple cultures / sectors and display agility and diversity
Demonstrate capability of being a quick learner of business processes, models, EY
methodologies with an analytical bend of mind
Display a structured thought process and problem solving skills. Ability to do problem

break down and analysis


Academic qualifications:
B.Com/BMS/ BAF/ Economics and other graduation streams
Additional Details :
Candidates should be willing to travel
Flexibility to work back in teams with diverse background
Good Interpersonal and communication skills
IT Savvy
