There will be a Friday Evening Cracker-Barrel and Zombie Preparedness Training Film in the Spencer Dinning Hall.
Saturdays lunch will be provided by the staff and will be a Philmont trail lunch; patrols are advised to bring backpacking stoves for each patrol.
Except for Saturday lunch, units will be expected to supply all of their own camping equipment and food for Friday through Sunday morning.
The Broad Creek parking policy will be in effect throughout the entire weekend
No cars will be allowed to park in the camping areas, unless attached to the unit trailer
1 trailer per unit at each campsite.
The Saturday Camporee program will consist of a series of events designed to allow all scouts to participate while trying to survive
the spreading Zombie Apocalypse while Sundays Program will be designed to help identify those older Scouts who are prepared
to set themselves apart as a Zombie Survival Expert.
PLEASE NOTE:
The possibility that clothing could become damaged or permanently stained is very high during this event; as such, BSA Field
Uniforms are PROHIBITED for the entire weekend. Please encourage Scouts to wear clothes that can get damaged without
repercussions. Camporee Sweatshirts will be provided to ALL participants for this reason.
Camporee Staff is asking all Scoutmasters to ensure that no Scouts arrive in their Field Uniform and make appropriate exceptions
to Troop travel policies as necessary.
