GENERAL INFORMATION
This document should be used in conjunction with the drawings, specifications,
codes and standards and must comply with the rules and regulations of the
Government of Indonesia or the other recognized regulations.
This specification covers the minimum requirements governing the design,
materials, fabrication, inspection, testing, painting, complete with internal
equipment, spare parts and VENDOR Data.
The requirements set forth do not relieve VENDOR of his responsibility to
perform all services in a safe manner, to meet applicable codes and standards,
to comply with government regulations or to supply a product capable of
performing its intended service.
This specification does not dictate detailed design of the equipment or
assembly of components. It is intended that those responsibilities be retained
fully by the VENDOR so that all equipment and process warranties remain
unmitigated

INSPECTION AND TESTING

5.1

INSPECTION AND TESTING PROCEDURE

a. Inspection will be required on all aspects of the Vendors documentation in
relation to any "as built" drawings, applicable certification and test material
certificates.
b. Individual calibration testing of instruments will be required as well as pressure
testing, NDT, leak testing as stated in the particular specifications, data sheets.
Following test and inspection shall be included to the Instruments, as the
minimum:

Visual Check

Functional Test

Calibration

c. All instrument supply line shall be disconnected from the instrument and
isolated from main headers prior to introducing instrument air to the system.

d. All leak testing and a preliminary function test shall be performed by the
contractor prior to the final witness test.
e. All analog transmitters such as Pressure transmitters, Temperature
transmitters and Current to Pressure transducers shall be calibrated for proper
zero span range as indicated datasheets manufcturers recommended
calibration procedure.
f.

All function testing shall be thoroughly documented by Contractor or his

representative and a report prepared in accordance with API RP 14C Appendix D.
This report shall contain as a minimum:
Name(s) of person(s) performing test.

Date(s) on which each test is performed

All information as required by API RP 14C Section D4 and Table D1.

g. Contractor shall notify Company seven days prior to the date such test is to be
performed. The test is to verify complete functionality of the equipment including
logic, operability, and mechanical performance.

5.2

QA/QC CERTIFICATION
Vendor shall provide the QA/QC Test and Inspection Certificates / Reports for the complete supply:
a. QA/QC Certification for Visual controls:

Type and model,

Material, Rating

Scale,

Operating range,

Labelling,

Painting,

Dimensions (flanges, threading, piping),

Certificate of conformity for equipment used in hazardous areas,

Certificate of conformity for welding test.

b. QA/QC Certification for Functional Tests:

Instrument manufacturers shall test and calibrate each instrument at factory against the
specification and data sheet requirements.
Each instrument shall have a calibration certificate which shall include:

Measure 5 points : 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% (increase and decrease),

Threshold set point and dead band (increase and decrease).

Statistical controls which shall be performed using the following sampling
