Welcome to the Portuguese Language Group of St Paul Students. I am called George Nchumbonga Lekelefac and I am the Portuguese Language Coordinator of the Portuguese Group which was
officially authorized by the St Paul University Student Association on Friday 23 of October, 2015.
It is with great delight that I present to you the Portuguese Language Group Newsletter whose
aim is to inform you on the opportunities and activities which this group freely offers. With my short
Portuguese Language experience in Equitorial Guinea and Sao Paulo, Brasil, I was inspired to share
my talents by founding the Portuguese Language Group of St Paul Students. The group welcomes all
who are interested in initiating, improving and perfecting the Portuguese Language.

My Experience in the Portuguese Group of St Paul Students by Daisy Reboul from France, Europe.
For a long time, I had been willing to learn Portuguese in order to travel to Portuguese-speaking countries. The Portuguese Language Group of St. Paul Students founded by George Nchumbonga Lekelefac has been the perfect way for me.
First of all, the Group is free, so everyone who is willing to learn a new language shouldnt hesitate and should join the group!
Another point that I really liked with the group was that it does not requires a huge workload. Of course, you need to study Portuguese on a regular basis, but you can definitely take part in this group even if you have a heavy schedule.
Lastly, during the session, I learnt plenty of daily-life vocabulary, as well as the most useful conjugations. The Group emphasizes
what you really need if you just want to be able to communicate with people in Portuguese. Overall, in a few months, thanks to the
Portuguese Group, I managed to be able to understand a lot more Portuguese than I used to, and Im now able to have a basic conversation. I am thus very thankful to George Nchumbonga Lekelefac for his help and his enthusiasm in every lecture.

WHAT DO PEOPLE SAY ABOUT THE PORTUGUESE LANGUAGE GROUP

Congratulations for this initiative. This is a very exciting opportunity for our students. Blessings! Dr. Chantal Beauvais,
Rector of St Paul University, Ottawa., 3rd of March, 2016 and 20th April, 2016.

I certainly encourage our students to participate in the Portuguese group in order to get to know each other better and broaden ones perspective. It is important to be sensitive to other ways of expressing ideas and understanding of the world we
live in. We say that we are as many times humans as many languages we know. Blessings+ Andrzej Jastrzebski OMI,
PhD, Aumonier/Chaplain Service de Pastorale / Pastoral Service, Universit Saint-Paul / Saint Paul University

The Portuguese Language Group is a great addition to Saint Paul University. They bring to light the rich diversity and
unity of the student population in getting to know each other through sharing of knowledge and celebrating their cultures. I
wish them all the very best in their current and future activities as they enrich student experience. Vivianne Khayat, Registrar, Office of Admission, Registrar and Student Services

I am very excited by our Portuguese student Language group here at Saint Paul University, where students can converse in Portuguese. They are a wonderful opportunity for
students to pick up a language new to them, or to share one they already know; through the process they are all about students teaching students. They also tell us about the cultural diversity at Saint Paul University, and how it draws students from all over the world. Get involved, and let us hear your voice! Mr. Steve Zytveld, Emeritus President of St
Paul Student Association.

adquirir novas perspectivas e ampliar horizontes. Jefferson Peruzzo, Brazilian and member of the Portuguese language Group .

A group of Portuguese Language is important for the Saint Paul University for innumerous reasons. It provides members an opportunity to learn a foreign language, improve their
communication skills as well as get to know the amazing culture of lusophone countries. This way, members may become more open minded, get different perspectives and
expand horizons. Jefferson Peruzzo, Brazilian and member of the Portuguese language Group .

A importncia da lngua portuguesa por Jefferson Peruzzo, Brazilian and member of Portuguese Language Group.
A lngua portuguesa vem ganhando destaque no cenrio mundial.
economia.
O portugus a sexta lngua mais falada no mundo e o idioma oficial
do espanhol.
Jeff presenting at end of year.
o espanhol o idioma oficial, o portugus disciplina obrigatria nas
escolas.
nao e falarem a mesma lngua portugus.
