1. Identify needed information for completing a purpose to


develop effective search strategies
Excelente: Collects information from a variety of relevant sources demonstrating
integration and confirmation of the validity of the obtained information.
Sobresaliente: Considers quality of the source of information, showing a c areful choice of
search terms, to obtain accurate information specifically adressed for his age.
Bueno: Shows efficiency to select proper vocabulary and to combine search terms in
order to find required information to accomplish a task.
Insuficiente: Ignores appropriate search terms and methods and fails to effectively find
reliable information.
Deficiente: Is unable to differentiate relevant and reliable sources from the ones that
are not.

2. Use organizing tools to display concrete information


Excelente: Presents an organizer that shows synthesized, organized and complete
information with meaningful relationships among subtopics.
Sobresaliente: Categorizes useful information organizing detailed aspects, to display
content that is relevant, understandable, clear and concise.
Bueno: Organizes most information about a topic, showing relevant organization and
summarization of it.
Insuficiente: Organizing tools present understandable concepts and contents, missing
required elements, relationships and/or accurate relationships.
Deficiente: Graphic organizers show unclear, incomplete or inaccurate information.

3. Determine variables and factors that affect systems and


relations to explain biological processes
Excelente: Compares elements, finding appropriate comparative items suggesting deep
understanding of the selected information, with relevant, accurate and detailed
reasoning.
Sobresaliente: Characterizes information and finds items of comparison to categorize it
accordingly
Bueno: Evidences identification of characteristics that define biological processes and
relations to support answers.
Insuficiente: Indicates failures to recognize relevant details, showing incomplete
interpretation of data and facts.
Deficiente: Shows unorganized information and little interpretation of it.

factors that affects them

and data.

topic.
Insuficiente: Presents a game in which questions and answers are not accurate or
complete.
Deficiente: There is no coherence between the contents and instructions presented in
class and the ones presented in the game.

prevented.
Insuficiente: Revision on assignment outcomes doesnt shows recognition of past
mistakes.
Deficiente: Is unable to recognize the importance of revision prior submission.
