I am a results-oriented, high-energy, hands-on professional, qualified by twenty years


of visible achievements in the food service and hospitality industry to include reversing
distressed operations, enhancing visibility in the market place and developed/
implemented programs to maximize profits. I have held departmental supervisory or
higher management position in which I handled inventory and cost control, worked
within budgetary restraints, hired and trained personnel, prepared payroll data and
monitored labor cost, generated P & L reports and submitted daily, weekly and monthly
financial reports. I have coordinated training and professional development programs for
different level departmental personnel and have worked as an administrative link between
those departments.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

April 1997 – April 2009 ~ The Chattahoochee River Club ~ Columbus, Ga.
Food and Beverage Director –
Responsible for the general operations and staff performance relating to
A La Carte and Banquet operations. Planed and implemented budgetary
and operational procedures. I was the liaison between multiple departments.
Hired, trained and supervised team members and applied relevant marketing
principles to assure that the wants and needs of the club’s members were
consistently exceeded. Managed Bar inventory and cost control. I worked
as the Club’s purchasing agent and coordinated the club’s maintenance and
repair. Responsible for all aspects of the club in the absence of the General
Manager.
