Welcome to Royal Dance Works. Founded in 1979, we offer quality dance education to students of all ages. Please
read through the following information, initial, sign, and turn in a 2nd copy to the front desk. Contact us at

Tuition is based on an 11 month calendar divided into 11 equal payments. If tuition is paid by the 15th of each
month, the discount will apply. It is your responsibility to make sure the payment is received by the 15th. Monthly
statements will not be mailed out but will be available at the front desk.

Attendance is an important part of the dancer’s advancement. Please sign in at the front desk before each class.
No credit is given for missed classes; however, dancers are encouraged to make up any missed classes. When mak-
ing up a class, please pick up a “make-up” form at the front desk, fill out, and hand in to the teacher.

Class Placement is carefully evaluated by the professional staff according to physical facility, talent, and ability.
Placement is continually monitored by teachers. Any changes to one’s schedule must go through the front office/
teachers with a drop/add form to be picked up at the front office.

Communication will take place primarily through email. Announcements, special offers, etc. will be sent periodi-
cally. If you do not receive emails, please notify the front desk so that another form of communication can be ar-
ranged. Parents are responsible for updating the studio with any email, address, phone numbers that may have
changed throughout the season.

Delinquent Accounts must be settled to a zero balance after 2 months for a student to continue attending class.
Royal Dance Works has the right to refuse service if outstanding balances have not been rectified.

Student Lounge is an area for our students to study, relax, and eat. Please follow these guidelines. Clean up after
yourself. Take your belongings with you into the classroom. Keep the noise level down to respect those who are
studying. Be aware that content of conversations is appropriate for all age levels.

The Recital is a time to showcase the year’s work of our dancers. Participation is strongly encouraged as it is a
wonderful opportunity for our dancers to perform for family and friends. Costumes for combination classes run
$65 each with costumes for all other students at $85 per class. These costs are due November 15th. If multiple
classes, the costume fees of the 1st 3 classes are due by November 15th with the balance due January 15th.

Year-end Balances, including June tuition, must be paid in full before costumes will be handed out and in order to
participate in the June recital.

Dance Attire varies by class. Please check with the teacher for the specific apparel. Children’s tap and ballet
shoes , in addition to leotard and tights, are sold at the front desk. Children in combination classes who are per-
forming tap in the recital will need tan tap shoes.
