Areas that worked well

The table of contents is clear
and set out well.
The purpose of the assignment
is clear.
A comprehensive outline for the
assignment is provided.
A clear purpose and outline
demonstrates an understanding
of the assignment brief.
Relevant and insightful
information was provided.
This context provides a relevant
framework for the rest of the
assignment.
The length of this section is
appropriate.
Only necessary and relevant
information about the
organisation was provided.
The theory was applied
effectively to the selected
organisation.
The arguments in this section
were well motivated.
Once again, the arguments were
well substantiated.
The idea of critiquing and
expanding the Regenesys
Integrated Management Model is
a good example of metaanalysis. This argument could
have been developed further by
substantiating it with relevant
literature.

Areas that require improvement

Some arguments could have

been better justified by providing
relevant examples or a deeper
explanation. Refer to page 2 and
4.

The Regenesys Integrated

Management Model could have
been used more rigorously to
analyse Nedbank. For example,
the way in which individuals,
teams and the organisation
develop PQ, EQ, SQ, IQ and
especially GQ at Nedbank could
have been critically analysed.
The impact of these intelligences
on teams and the way in which
they promote GQ in particular
could have been examined in
greater depth.
Assertions that may seem
contradictory should be
examined in more detail. For
example, link the CEOs
comment about Nedbank Group
strives to be a leader in
sustainability, not for competitive

advantage, but because it makes

sound business and moral
sense with Nedbanks strategic
marketing strategy and the triple
bottom line argument. Explain
possible contradictions.

Overall feedback

The conclusion is an excellent

example of how the key points
covered in the assignment are
well summarised.
Moreover, it is a good conclusion
because no new points were
raised and only key issues were
reiterated.
The assignment referred to an
impressive number of sources.
Excellent.
The sources were referenced
properly and consistently
throughout the assignment.
There is no evidence of
plagiarism.
The reference page is excellent
in that the sources are
referenced properly.
The assignment is well
structured and the content flows
logically.
The headings and paragraphs
flow in logical order.
This is an excellent and well
researched assignment.
The writing style is
commendable in that complex
issues are explained in a simple
way by creating clear sentences
that enable the reader to
understand intricate concepts
and arguments easily.
There is evidence of metaanalysis in that the analytical
model/framework was critiqued.
This skill is especially important
to develop at a postgraduate
level.
A critical success factor of the
assignment is that the
assignment brief was addressed
by answering the questions
thoroughly.

The critical analysis could have

been deepened even further, by
justifying the points in greater
depth. Credible sources and
relevant examples should be
used to defend the arguments.
Another way to deepen the
analysis is to examine both
strengths and areas of
improvement in the organisation.
Even though it is evident that the
organisation in the assignment is
an exemplary example of
environmental sustainability,
there are still challenges that
need to be addressed. The
application of an analytical tool
such as the Regenesys
Integrated Management Model
could have assisted in identifying
specific strengths and areas of
improvement.
