CONFERENCE BACKGROUND

Futuristic thinking, breakthrough innovations and disruptive

business models are taking the business world by storm,
creating new markets and customer segments while
destroying older ones. Companies innovate faster than their
customers' needs evolve, mostly, much ahead of times.
Harnessing digital technologies and evolving innovative
business models have become the norm in this VUCA (Volatile,
Uncertain, Complex & Ambiguous) world. These changes while
giving rise to new markets are forcing companies to innovate
and strategize differently.
Every functional areas of businesses are affected by these
future changes, be it offering products and services much
ahead of customers' expectations, or empowering employees
to realize their full potential, or connecting dynamic
stakeholders through various IT platforms or real time, cost
efficient supply chain management systems.
In alignment with the changing times, business schools are
expected to be much more futuristic and entrepreneurial in
nature and process. Academicians are called for developing
strategies which are proactive, relevant, and enterprising
reflecting this disruptive thinking. They need to create an
educational experience that develops global leaders who can
lead their businesses swiftly and effectively in these dynamic
environment. The question is, are our business schools reflect
these changes in their nature, curricula, delivery and outcome?
We call for papers from management educators and industry
practitioners to think and reflect on these lines and provide
insights on how companies and academia can cope with the
radical changes. The conference will deliberate on the best and
the next business enterprises/industry practices in all the
functional areas shaping our future.

SUBMISSION PROCESS
Abstrats and full papers can be submitted to conferencescm@reva.edu.in. The submissions shall be passed through a
doubleblinded peer review process after initial screening on
appropriateness and relevance based on the conference
theme. All submissions must be original and not published
anywhere else.
Every submission must have a title page, abstract (not more
than 300 words), key words, along with the paper. Maximum
word limit is 8000. Papers should be well edited. Use Times
New Roman 12 with 1.5 line spacing for the text and 14 for
headings. Referencing must follow APA style.

REVA UNIVERSITY
REVA University is established in Bengaluru, Karnataka State
under the Government of Karnataka Act 80 of the year 2012 and
notified in the Karnataka Gazette dated 7th Feb.2013, located 14
kms away from the Kempegowda International Airport on the
