Course Objectives
The objective of this course is to learn or acquire a basic understanding of
the fundamental principles of biology including life at the molecular and
cellular level, life at the systems and organisms level, interaction of life
forms and function and ecology. You will also be expected to acquire an
understanding of scientific methods as fundamental mechanisms for critical
analysis and problem solving. This course will fulfils the general education
requirements for laboratory science as it will satisfied the goals and
objectives of Virginia Standard of Learning (SOL). Therefore, you need
this course to graduate.
Expectations
! Attendance: Please notify me in advance if you will miss a class.
