6. Wait 15 wait 15 before call again (General -> Wait)
7. Loop End (General -> Loop End)
Video Call CS

In general cs for video call is same as voice call, but in video call in dial command we must add
v.
i.e
Loop Start
Dial v081384760975
Wait 120
End Call
Wait 15
Loop End
Packet Service (PS) Test
This is the example cs for PS test

All equipment that we use in PS Test is DC (Data Cable).

In command dial up :
DT *99***1# orinaica ************

means DT is dial up connection that we should made first in network connection

setup account for this connection (fill username and password : orinaica and ***********)

select modem that we want to use in PS Test

give additional command (at command, orinaica.wordpress.com is the apn name that will use
in connection)

*99***1# is the dial number for dial up connection

this is details to make cs in PS Test

oia,,
bedanya short call sama long call apaan yah??
klo bisa dijelasin yg jelas, maklum newbie, hehe
| Reply Posted 1 year, 12 months ago

orinaica says:

Short call atau sequence dalam command sequence biasanya digunakan untuk
mengecek accessibility (Call Settup Success Rate).
Contoh :
Short Call 60/10 artinya 60 second dedicated mode, dan 10 second idle mode.
Short Call 120/10 artinya 120 second dedicated mode, dan 10 second idle mode.
Long call biasanya digunakan untuk mengecek Integrity dan Retainability
(Handover Success Rate, Dropped Call Rate).

DT-STEP BY STEP GSM

In general, Drive Test can be define as a methode that used to verify the actual
condition of RF signal certain operator (excelcomindo, telkomsel, indosat, mobile8)
at certain place.
Several functions of drive test :
- Analyzing customer complaint of certain operator in their home or office area
- Finding problem in BTS ( Timeslot Check, TRX Check, Swap Feeder)
- Analyzing the result of optimization process (continuity and all of area)
There are softwares can be used for drivetest that installed on laptop. TEMS
Investigation (Ericsson), NEMO (Nokia).
Here the steps to start learning drivetest with TEMS Investigation :
1. Drive Test Equipments
2. Laptop Configurations
3. TEMS Investigation :
- Workspace Configurations

3. Create drive route that can represent each sector

4. Export logfile into *.tab with IEs CI
5. Create thematic map for each CI (Cell Identity)
Parameter Dasar yang digunakan Dalam DT GSM :
1. BCCH : Broadcast Control Channel = frekuensi yg digunakan dlm GSM untuk
downlink BTS ke MS (berkisar 890MHz-915MHz utk yg GSM 900)
2. ARFCN : Absolute Radio Frequency Channel = sebutan kanal yg digunakan untuk
mewakili brapa nilai dari frekuensi. Jd misalnya disebut ARFCN BCCHnya 18 , nah
artinya nti 18 itu dikonversi menjadi nilai MHz td.
3.CGI terdiri atas :
a.MCC / Mobile Country Code, klo Indonesia pakenya 510
b.MNC /Mobile Network Code, nilainya tergantung operator
c.LAC / Local Area Code, setiap area atw daerah punya kode yg ditentukan operator
d.Cell Id, parameter ini yg hrs diperhatikan agar tidak salah site ketika ingin
melakukan drive test karena setiap cell punya kode ID masing".
4. BSIC / Base Station Identity Code, Membedakan antar BTS terutama BTS-BTS yg
mempunyai BCCH ARFCN yg sama (dalam reuse freq)
5. RxLev = Tingkat kuat level sinyal penerima di MS (rentang dalam minus
dB),makin kecil mkin lemah
6. RxQual = Tingkat kualitas sinyal penerima di MS (rentangnya skala 0-7),makin
besar makin jelek
makin jauh
