Flesh, Blood, Bread And

Wine

Gods In His Heaven, and alls right with the

world. Robert Browning. Of all the quotes to open
an essay with, these are best here for our purpose
of dialogue my Dear Reader. The concept of the
Eucharist as mystical, that is to say un-seeable
(impassable), presents of Jesus as he is the Son of
God in Union with Him the Father is undeniably a
doctrine that seems to border on the Verruckt of
schizophrenia in the Steven Write belief that the
bread has been replaced by an exact replica. You
might take this to be a joke, but this is no laughing
matter; after all, so many Roman Catholics go to
Eucharistic Communion and give little time or
thought to being received by that bread theyve
just received. If they thought of fusion and the
realities of it which are dark and uncomfortable to
the senses, and furthermore that they will be in
some way unified like a fusion, they might never go
to Eucharistic Communion again.
Of course that is not our objective here. Our
objective is to realize that Holy Communion is an
integration in the diametrical opposite of fusion;
though I post a warning here to those who might
be incredulous and go receive with a muddled
mind, it will fuse those who go only half-in. Then

you will definitely fall to an uncomfortable fusion

instead of the desirable integration.
So, lets go into the thought of the desirable
integral part of a full Holy Communion where one is
Communed after receiving Communion. To draw
the point of good, Ill take from the dark part first.
A fusion with any object whether it be bread, wine
or anything else is a diminutive supplement of
splitting something down the middle and
redressing it with another thing that has also been
split down the middle; fission to make fusion. In
contrast, the additive complements of integration
are two whole entities imbuing as does osmosis in
cellular life. One sperm and one egg are this kind
of osmotic integration with the exception that after
the initial integration, fission takes over and fusion
becomes a natural reality to us as beings. Perhaps
this would bring us to the objective knowledge of
how we know about fusion when after all, we walk
down the street every day and are never
enveloped into it with half our bodies cut off from
their natural function and exfoliation. If that did
happen, we would not be happy campers as we
can well imagine.
Which brings me back to integration and the
joy of it. When one sperm and one egg join, there

is a small and sudden flash of light before fission

takes over. This is the kind of integration the
Eucharist is here; that of pure Light. The warm
imbue of this Light fills the soul and the senses
when it reveals itself to the Communicant. We
undoubtedly would all search this if we all had the
key to revelation of the under-working of the Bread
of the Eucharist. Wonder might ponder this for the
sufficient duration for integration to reach its
fullness. This is the key to avoiding half measures
where fusion would replace the integral bond of a
Communicant with their Communion. The duration
proper to crystalize an integral union is not
measurable in time frames, only in frames marking
thresholds where the imagination begins more and
more to accept being bread and wine in place of
flesh and blood. Then when it does this, it realizes
that that bread and wine has now become flesh
and blood! I myself, Dear Reader still have miles to
go before I sleep, and miles to go before I sleep.
When crystallization is complete, there are no
more hurtles of disbelief to scale as the frames
marking thresholds. These frames of disbelief are
miscarriages of trust both in ourselves, our
neighbor, and also our God, and they must be
overcome in order to reap the benefits of an

integral Communion. Crystallizing Love is Wholly

Communing with God and an whole Communion
with God is an Holy Communion indeed!
God Love you!
