log in as an administrative user. Use the administrative user

name and password provided during the Oracle BI
installation..

 Check the Status of all servers and services before

deploying new RPD..

 Navigate to Business Intelligence Core Application

 Go to Deployment Repository

 Lock and Edit Configuration.

You receive the confirmation message Lock and Edit

Configuration - Completed Successfully. Close it.

 Upload Repository File and Provide the repository

Password..

 Click on Apply

 Default RPD is now Portal_Business_Area_EUL_BI0022

with an extension.

Extension number is the sequential Number that is created

for each version you upload.

 Click on Activate Changes

You will receive the confirmation message Close

 ClickRestart to apply recent changesto navigate to

theOverview

 Click the Restart Button if the Services are already started.

Default Restart ( It will stop and start the services )
Click Start if Services are Down

 You will get popup message for the confirmation.

Click Yes if you want to restart the services

 Restart of Services will take time depending on the

System Configuration and load on the system..

Restart of services will continue even though you close

your browser..

 Restart All Completed Successfully..
