OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson the student will:

2. Perform music of Singapore through singing alone and
or/with others.

THE GENIUS CAP
a) While the music is playing the genius cap will pass around the class.
b) When the music stop, the one whos wearing the genius cap will answer a
question related to the last topic.
c) The student who will not able to answer the question correctly will remain
standing.
Motivation

a) Divide the class into five


b) Each group will have distinct animal sound (miao,moo,quack, aw,tweet)
c) Everybody will sing twinkle twinkle little star with the use of animal sound.
d) The teacher will conduct to which group sing a phrase of the song twinkle
twinkle little star using animal sound.
e) Each group will have a perfect score. Every time a group commit mistake, the
group will be deducted.

1. Identify the music in singapore
2. What are the characteristic in Singaporian music in relation to history
and culture?
3. Perform one vocal music in singapore and know the story behind its
song.
4. Let the student sing the song to the given vocal music.

EVALUATION

1. From the previous group of the class, the student will present the song
with their interpretation. They will have 10 min. time to prepare it. And
they will be scored based on the given rubrics.
