My key responsibilities included teaching stage 4 and 5 over a four week block. The movement units
included basketball, soccer, tennis, social dance, gymnastic and rhythmic gymnastics. The health topics
covered included risk taking behaviour (tobacco and cannabis), alcohol its OK not to drink (drug
education) and Beautiful Minds (mental health). I also was provided with the opportunity to teach
anatomy to a stage 6 class.

This was a three week practicum. I taught a stage 5 unit on de-stress through movement which focuses
on strand 1 and 4. Additionally I took health classes with stage 4 which focused on a balanced lifestyle
which strongly linked to strand 3 and 4. I was responsible for teaching PASS which we covered the topic
of training principles and coaching. Within practical lessons I undertook, volleyball, basketball and
dodgeball.

dealing with nutrition and eating healthy. Took ongoing practical lessons which included invasion games

school hours two nights and mornings a week along with administrative tasks within the junior school.
